‘The Nevers’ First Trailer From Joss Whedon-Created HBO Series

To begin, let’s just clear up why we titled this post “Joss Whedon-Created.” He did, in fact, create the show. He was set up to run it for HBO. However, he was asked to leave the production in November of last year over allegations of bad behavior that is similar to other allegations that have plagued the creator for the last several years. Still, his former teammates and Buffy/Angel Alum Jane Espenson and Doug Petrie stayed on to see the vision through. The series stars Outlander’s Laura Donnelly, and focuses on a group of women in Victorian times who fight enemies with their strange abilities.

Today, HBO MAX has released the first trailer for the new series which is now slated to drop on the streaming network this April.

They are the champions of this new underclass, making a home for the Touched, while fighting the forces of… well, pretty much all the forces — to make room for those whom history as we know it has no place.
