Haven’t heard of The Paper Tigers? Don’t worry, we hadn’t either until about five minutes ago, but this new Kung-Fu looks good enough that we wanted to share it with everyone. In The Paper Tigers, we meet three men who were Kung-Fu prodigies, but are now out of shape, suburban dads. When their sifu is murdered, they band together for justice. The movie looks like it not only has some great action, but also a decent amount of laughs and heart to it. Also, if you’re a fan of the Karate Kid movies, stick around for the end of the trailer and you’ll see a familiar face.
The paper tigers saw limited release in 2020 (It has a 100% Rotten Tomatoes Score) and will be getting wide release on May 7, 2021.
Three Kung Fu prodigies have grown into washed-up, middle-aged men, now one kick away from pulling their hamstrings. But when their master is murdered, they must juggle their dead-end jobs, dad duties, and old grudges to avenge his death.
