Earlier this year The Powerpuff Girls returned to TV for a special that… honestly, I meant to watch, but never actually did. It sat on my DVR for about a month, but the new animation style just didn’t grab my attention. That said, it grabbed someone’s attention, because it was announced at this week’s Licensing show that The Powerpuff Girls are returning to the small screen in 2016 with a rebooted new series.
