‘The Rocketeer’ Set To Reboot As Disney Jr Cartoon

Deadline is reporting that Disney Jr will be bringing back the Classic Disney property, The Rocketeer, as a new animated series targeting children, ages 2-7.

The new series, which is based on the Dan Stevens comic book, will focus on Kit, a young girl who finds out that she is the next in line to becoming the legendary hero, The Rocketeer. Together with her “gadget-minded” best friend, Tesh, and her airplane mechanic uncle, she must keep balance her regular life and her secret identity while also managing to go on super awesome adventures and periodically saving the world.
