The internet has been working double time to try and figure out which one of the Walking Dead Survivors met their end at the hands of Negan in last season’s finale. People have stripped out audio that they think proves it was Glenn. Other people point to a shadow of Carl’s hat on Negan’s chest as evidence that he is the one who dies. Still more people point to Norman Reedus’ recent internet mentions of wanting to play Ghost Rider as evidence that he could be planning an exit. Yet, in reality, no one has any idea who died. Just to make it even more confusing, actors Reedus and Steven Yeun were spotted near the set not too long ago, helping pull people out of a wrecked car on the side of the road (they were actually helping, it wasn’t part of the show). So, why would either of them be on set if one of them is dead?
It all brings us back to the question… Who died?!?!?
According to THR, the answer is: Everyone! Yup, the producers for the show wanted to keep their options open, so they actually shot death scenes for all 11 cast members. Any decisions about which one makes the show will be saved for post production.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
