‘The Walking Dead’ Will End @ Season 11, Carol + Darryl Spinoff In Development

Talk about a headline with a built-in spoiler. Earlier today, AMC announced that the Walking Dead will finally be coming to an end with season 11. While the season was set to air this year, the COVID-19 Pandemic has pushed it back until late 2021. In the wake of the show’s ending, the network is already announcing that Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride’s Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier are set to live on in a new spin-off series that will debut in 2023. At the very least, this tells us that the two castmembers will seemingly survive the end of the original series.

Before you start your final ten-episode countdown, remember that there are still six more epsiodes set to air in season 10 of The Walking Dead when it returns early next year. On top of that, Season 11 is clocking in at a massive 24 episodes.
