Earlier today, Robert Kirkman announced that the film crew has just wrapped production on the mid-season finale of Season 3 of The Walking Dead. He added to his announcement with an image of one of the set buildings from the town of Woodbury.
Along with the announcement of the show’s progress, he also said that we are in for a 16 episode season this year with 8 episodes airing this fall and the other 8 airing in 2013.
As it stands right now, we are two months and four days from the season 3 premier of The Walking Dead. However, it looks like we will be getting a bit of a bonus beforehand by way of webisodes. I’ll admit that last year’s webisodes were kind of weak, but I’m hoping that they will put together a more compelling story to whet our appetites for the upcoming carnage that we’ll all be experiencing once we get to Woodbury.
