Just a little while ago, Netflix announced that The Witcher has now begun production on season 2. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the 8-episode second season won’t be airing until 2021. With that said, we at least have a better idea of who we’ll be seeing on screen when the show does come back next year.
Leading the cast is Henry Cavill, returning of Geralt of Rivia. Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), Freya Allan (Ciri), and Joey Batey (Jaskier) will also be coming back. Joining the cast for the first time are: Kristofer Hivju (Nivellen), Yasen Atour (Coen), Agnes Bjorn (Vereena), Paul Bullion (Lambert), Thue Ersted Rasmussen (Eskel), Aisha Fabienne Ross (Lydia), and Mecia Simson (Francesca).
