The first teaser for season 3 of The Witcher just dropped, and it sets up high stakes for Geralt as he faces a foe that makes him feel fear for the first time in his life. While there aren’t tons of details in the trailer, we do get our first look at Henry Cavill’s final outing as Geralt of Rivia. The teaser also puts the focus squarely on the trio of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri.
We aren’t sure how this season will end, but producers are promising that we’ll get a heroic sendoff for Cavill before he leaves, and the role is taken over by Liam Hemsworth. The new season of The Witcher will be split into two sections, with the first five episodes dropping on Netflix on June 29th, and the final six episodes dropping on July 27th.
