It’s been widely reported for months that this season will be the final appearance of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia on Netflix’s The Witcher. As a result, the expectations are high that he’ll go out with a bang before the role is taken over by Liam Hemsworth.
We already knew that this season will be a story that is based on The Witcher: Wild Hunt, and will focus largely on Geralt and Yennefer mentoring Ciri in both the ways of magic and being a Witcher. We now know that the two-part season will be dropping very soon… as in later this month. Part one of the season will hit the streamer on June 29th to be followed shortly thereafter by part two on July 27th.
