Star Wars Rebels returns this weekend with two episodes that will take us back to the Clone Wars and re-introduce us to to Rogue One’s Saw Gerrera, before he went all white haired and psycho like he was in the movie.
In the episodes, “Ghosts of Genosis” parts 1 & 2, the crew of The Ghost will come across the Forrest Whittaker’s character, and see what he was like sometime after he saved Jyn Erso from death as a child and sometime before the events of most of Rogue One. Think about it. At this point in Rebels, we are approximately two years before A New Hope. That means the first couple of scenes in Rogue One have already happened.
