It came a week later than fans were expecting but the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder is finally here. If Marvel holds to their typical pattern, what we are seeing is only footage from the first third of the movie, but there’s still a ton to check out.
The trailer gives us an idea of where Thor currently is, emotionally. He’s looking for his path and he’s not sure where it’s going to lead him. He’s with the Guardians of the Galaxy, doing CrossFit to get rid of that Avengers: Endgame belly, and hanging out a lot with Korg (Taika Waititi). However, the film gives us a couple of other big teases including our first look at Russell Crowe as Zeus and our first live-action peek at Natalie Portman as The Mighty Thor, complete with a cracked but re-formed Mjolnir.
Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters in July of 2022.
