After year’s of repeating his name three times, it looks like Beetlejuice is finally going to return! Now that they’ve got Seth Grahame-Smith working on the script, the Wrap is reporting that Tim Burton, who directed the original, is in talks to return to the helm for the sequel.

It has been previously reported that Burton’s next film would be Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, but now that project may be on hold in favor of Beetlejuice 2.

Keaton, who made the role of Beetlejuice famous, has expressed interest in returning to the role. When asked, he said: “Oh, I’d do that in a heartbeat Absolutely. That’s the one thing I’d love to do again.”

If they can’t get him than there’s no point in making the movie.
