‘Titans’ And ‘Deathly Hallows’ Going 3D

Warner Bros. has been mulling over whether or not to give Louis Leterrier’s “Clash of the Titans” a 3D makeover. After seeing a 3D test print of the film, WB has decided to not only pull the gun, but to also give the 3D treatment to both Part I and II of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”

Heat Vision is reporting that because conversion costs have fallen, it will only cost $5 million extra to convert each film into 3D and another $5 to supply the 3D glasses.

Of course, as a result of these new treatments, expect “Clash” to have its release date pushed back from march 26th to April 2nd and face off against Jude Law’s “Repo Men,” “Miley Cyrus’s “The Last Song,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” as well as Brendan Fraser’s “Fury Vengeance.”

Meanwhile, both parts of “Deathly Hallows” will still retain their original release date, with Part I hitting theaters this November 19th, and Part II on July 15, 2011.
