Titans Season 2 Casts Deathstroke

Titans is heading towards their second season on the DC Universe Streaming service and the network’s first sophomore series is heading down a familiar path by bringing in a DC villain that has popped up in recent DCEU films as well as The CW’s Arrow and even Teen Titans GO To The Movies. We’re talking about Slade Wilson/ AKA Deathstroke and in the last few years he’s been played by everyone from Joe Manganiello to Manu Bennett and he was even voiced by LEGO Batman himself, Will Arnett. When season 2 of Titans drops on The DC Universe, the newest iteration of the character will be played by veteran character actor, Esai Morales.

Here’s what it says in the official pres release:

“Slade Wilson is known for being DC’s deadliest assassin. While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge.

To his family, Slade is a father and husband, but to the rest of the world, he is feared by many as the infamous Deathstroke; selling his services to the highest bidder as the ruthless assassin that never gives up and never misses.”

Morales has most recently been playing a recurring character on NCIS: Los Angeles but the actor has appeared in everything from La Bamba to Tales From the Crypt.
