In just a little over a year, Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise is going to strap himself into a Spacex Rocket and take flight for the International Space Station. The news comes to us today via an updated travel manifest for the ISS from Spaceshuttlealmanac.com.
In a new chart released on Twitter today, it confirms that the Axiom flight for October 2021 will feature three “tourists” in the Spacex Dragon Capsule including Cruise, Director Doug Liman, and one unnamed additional person that we are guessing is either a co-star or a cameraperson.
While recent statements seem to confirm that the filmed, but not yet released Fast and Furious 9 will see Vin Diesel head to low-orbit to become the first movie star to film in space, Cruise will definitely have a lock on the title of the first person to film an action movie in the International Space Station.
