Top Cow’s Magdalena Moves One Step Closer To The Big Screen

THR is reporting that the film adaptation of Top Cow’s comic, Magdalena, finally has a writer and director. Based on the book by Marc Silvestri, the movie will now be relying on Director Ryuhei Kitamura and writer Holly Brix to create something that doesn’t suck.

Valhalla Motion Pictures’ Gale Anne Hurd and Platinum Studios’ Scott Mitchell Rosenberg are set to produce. Top Cow’s Marc Silvestri will exec produce with Randy Greenberg of the Greenberg Group.

Jenna Dewan (“Step Up”) and Luke Goss (“Hellboy II: The Golden Army”) are attached to star.
