Deadline is reporting that Tom Cruise will be bringing the Top Gun sequel, Top Gun: Maverick to Comic-Con for a Hall H appearance. This isn’t the first time that the actor has appeared at San Diego Comic-Con He was last seen in Hall H when showed up in 2013 to promote Edge Of Tomorrow.
We do know that the highly secretive film has started screening some footage. In fact, they just screened a couple scenes at the CineEurope presentation. The real question is what will they show in Hall H and who will be joining Cruise on the panel?
Our biggest bet is that returning cast member, Val Kilmer will be coming to the panel. The actor is no stranger to conventions in general, and it’s too good of a photo op for them not to put Maverick and Ice Man on stage together. As for the rest of the cast, it’s possible we could see any or all of the following players: Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller, and Manny Jacinto.
