While most people know Topher Grace for his roles in That 70s Show, BlackKKlansman, or Spider-Man 3, his friends know him as the man who has secretly turned the Star Wars prequels into an excellent 85-minute film through his own editing magic. Sadly, there is little chance that we will ever see the Topher Grace cut of the Star Wars Prequels (Unless Disney wants to blow our minds with an insanely unexpected bonus addition to Disney+), that doesn’t mean we won’t get to see his new Star Wars project.
Grace has now partnered with Jeff Yorkes on a Star Wars Mega Trailer that encompasses the entire saga of 10 existing films in five minutes. Using footage from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Revenge of The Sith, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Rogue One, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of The Jedi, The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi, the two filmmakers have created a love letter to the franchise that should warm the hearts of even the most disgruntled fan as we move towards the finale of the Skywalker saga in the as-of-yet unnamed Star Wars: Episode IX.
The new trailer not only uses footage from every Star Wars film, but it even incorporates footage from deleted scenes that were never shown on the big screen. It’s called ‘Star Wars Always’ and it is a thing of beauty.
