Marvel and Lionsgates’ long awaited “Thor: Tales of Asgard” which was first announced in 2099 finally has a release date. In addition, IGN has revealed some extras fan can expect to see that’ll accompany the Blu-ray/DVD release:
-Audio commentary with Supervising Producer Craig Kyle and Screenwriter Greg Johnson
-Audio commentary with Supervising Director Gary Hartle, Animation Director Sam Liu and Character Designer Phil Bourassa
-“Worthy: The Making of Thor: Tales of Asgard” featurette
-The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Bonus Episode from the new hit TV series
The feature’s plot follows a young Thor (whose vest makes him look a little like Thunderstrike), his brother Loki and the Warriors Three on a quest for the Sword of Surthur. Unfortunately, their actions stir the Frost Giants, and the young heroes must claim responsibility by saving Asgard from attack.
“Thor: Tales of Asgard” will land in Midgard May 17th.
