The first insanely badass little girl kicking ass trailer for Joe Wright’s (Pride & Prejudice, The Soloist, Atonement) “Hanna” has been released. “Hanna” stars Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones) as a teenage assassin who has been trained by her father (Eric Bana), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland. The film also stars Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, Olivia Williams and Jason Flemyng.
The movie looks absolutely stunning and what I’d think an “X-23” movie would look like if Marvel had made one. Now everyone is just going to think Marvel ripped off Wright. Anyway, I’ll be the first in line to watch this when it drops April 8th, 2011.
“Hanna” will also feature music by The Chemical Brothers.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
