A movie 20 years in the making is finally making its way to the big screen. “Passion Play” is a strange indie film that unites some major Hollywood stars that include: Mickey Rourke, Bill Murray and Mega Fox.
A modern-noir fable, the film stars Rourke (Nate) as a down-on-his-luck jazz trumpeter who falls in love with Fox’s character (Lilly) a carnival sideshow attraction who is suppose to be a fallen angel. For whatever reason Murray’s character (Happy Shannon) isn’t happy with this and is hell-bent on capturing Lilly for his own personal gain.
“Passion Play” will hit theaters this May 6th.
