It must be a slow news day when we’re writing about a description for a teaser trailer to a Michael bay film that won’t be released until next year. But I guess for the super Transformer geeks, some news update is better than no news. So for those who are dying to see the third installment of Bay’s ultimate robots in disguise, the Italian site BadTaste.it, has leaked a small teaser trailer description of what you can expect to see very soon.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon, from the teaser, plays it on conspiracy theories related to the moon landing. The first part of the movie alternates images of the control room at NASA and of the astronauts on the moon. The landing is what we know well, as are the famous words about the “giant leap for mankind.” But we did not know what is the journey of the astronauts on the dark side of the moon, until the control room do not tell them that “… then we are not alone.” Then we see some Transformers: the camera comes close to the eye of one of them, which starts to flash. But the camera does not stop, and takes us inside the robot and its mechanisms, making us understand that it’s coming back into action.”
Fans can expect the teaser to hit sometime in December, it’ll definitely be released online and when it does we’ll have it for you. Until then, “Dark of the Moon” will see the return of Shia LaBeouf where he’ll have a new squeeze in Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The movie will also star , Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, Alan Tudyk and John Turturro.
“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” is expected to hit theaters in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D July 1st, 2011.
