‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ Official Trailer Introduces Unicron

The Cinemacon trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts just dropped and with it comes the big reveal of the film’s main antagonist and he’ll be none other than Unicron! Taking place in the mid 90s, the story sets up the meeting and eventual team-up between the Autobots and the Maximals as they take on both Unicron and the Predacons. Peter Cullen is back as the voice of Optimus Prime, but Ron Perlman is stepping in to voice his Maximal counter-part, Optimus Primal.

Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for earth. Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, the film arrives in theatres June 9, 2023.
