A lot of people have been hoping that a new sequel to Tron was going to happen. When Joseph Kosinski decided to work on Oblivion, that hope started to dwindle a bit. Now, we’ve got word from the man who plays Tron, Bruce Boxleitner, that in fact it is going to happen and that filming will most likely start in two years.
“[Is] in the works,” says an optimistic Boxleitner. “Anything could happen, but all I can say is, it’s in its formative stages. [Joseph] Kosinski, who is slated for it, he’s shooting another movie now, and then they’ll get around to doing that. I think somewhere around 2014, maybe. I’m talking way out of school here, but they can’t shoot me because I’m Tron.”
