In a collaboration I’m sure no one ever thought possible, “Sesame Street” has turned to HBO’s sexy violent vampire-drama as a bizarre source of inspiration for a segment.
The long running children’s show in its 41st season, has created a strange parody of “True Blood” called “True Mud.” While the parody is harmless (ie: no naked vampires) and kind of fun, it’s strange to us that “Sesame Street” is producing it considering none of their young audience members would even make the connection. Regardless, I’m sure the “True Blood” fans would get a kick out of it and possibly more so than the kids watching it.
The new season of “Sesame Street” is set to premiere September 27th. You can watch the “True Mud” parody below which opens the show in the series premiere.
