Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) will adapt the live-action “Locke & Key” after Fox officially greenlit it recently. The show will most likely have a short summer run with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci set to produce.
Based on the IDW comic book by Joe Hill, “Locke & Key” follows the story of Nina Locke and her three children as they adjust to their move to Keyhouse, the family home in Lovecraft, MA to recover from an unspeakable horror. The Keyhouse mansion is just as mysterious as its name, filled with transformative keys hidden inside its walls. The keys are being are being sought after by a sinister and relentless creature with ties to the families past who will stop at nothing to accomplish its goals.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
