Despite what appears to be some really cheesy CG effects (check out the baseball clip below) I am really looking forward to Chronicle. The way they treat the discovery of what their powers are, the movie feels like the closest we’ll ever get to seeing The Runaways.
If you aren’t familiar with it by now, Chronicle is the tale of a group of friends who all mysteriously get powers. As everyone knows, power corrupts, and this story deals with the responsibility of having power and the consequences of being corrupted by it.
The film stars Michael B. Jordan, Michael Kelly and Alex Russell. It opens on the big screen February 3rd.
