The new horror anthology film from Severin Films, “The Theatre Bizarre,” releases its first trailer. It boasts a pretty a decent collection of horror directors and some solid names in the cast. While I’m not sure I’ll like this film I’m positive it’s one violent gore filled ride of short horror stories.
I love a good horror anthology film but I can’t remember the last time I saw one I cared about at all. I’m definitely interested in it due to some of the directors on it. I’ve been a Richard Stanely fan since I accidentally rented ‘Hardware’ and it fucked my shit up for a while. The rest are all big parts of the indie and mainstream horror world so this could shape up to be a fun little flick, only it’s release will tell us that.
The Directors: Douglass Buck (Sisters), Buddy Giovinazzo (Combat Shock), David Gregory, Karim Hussain (Hobo with a Shotgun), Tom Savini (Night of the Living Dead), and Richard Stanley (Hardware).
