Screen Gems’ “Underworld 4” will be undergoing some changes in the fourth installment. First of all, to no ones surprised, it will be in 3D. Secondly, although Kate Beckinsale will be in it, her screen time will be limited. According to Bloody-Disgusting the character Seline will “pass the torch” to one of her two daughters.
Len Wiseman will return to direct, and this will be his first 3D feature.
“Underworld 4” is expected to be an ongoing tale between vampires and werewolves and prior knowledge to the original trilogy is probably favored but not necessary. Whatever, the case, we’re getting another “Underworld” film, and if it’s anything like the previous, it’ll kick so much ass you’ll hope for a fifth.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
