After his turn as the Riddler, I get queasy whenever anyone suggests Jim Carrey for a superhero movie. However, Universal Studios apparently does not. Word is out through Deadline Hollywood that they would love to get Jim Carrey to take a role in the upcoming Kick-Ass 2. He’s already stated that he was a fan of the first film and he’d be joining a list of co-stars that includes: Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison, Robert Emms, Yancy Butler and Morris Chestnut
Should Carrey decide to join the film, he’d be playing the military themed hero, Colonel Stars, the founder of the Justice Forever team.
