‘WandaVision’ – First Trailer For Marvel’s Disney+ Series

Disney+ said last week that their Marvel Cinematic Universe series, Wandavision, would still be coming out this year, and last night we got one step closer to it becoming a reality with the release of the first trailer.

If you’re wondering how Scarlet Witch and Vision could have a series together, given that Vision died during the Infinity War and didn’t come back, this trailer is not going to answer it for you. If we had to guess, this is either all a manifestation of Wanda’s powers, or we’ll find out that Shuri had managed to get all of Vision’s consciousness downloaded before having to flee in the battle at the end of Infinity War. Either way, this is set up to be a seriously trippy adventure.

Even after watching the trailer, it’s hard to tell exactly what is going on with the new show, and this isn’t actually a bad thing. In fact, the more we watch it, the more we wonder if a good portion of the series is actually happening within Vision’s consciousness as his loved ones and allies are trying to bring him back. We just know that we are seriously excited about finally seeing the first MCU live-action TV series when it hits Disney+ later this year.

Along with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles as The Scarlet Witch/ Wanda Maximoff and The Vision, WandaVision also brings back former MCU player Kat Dennings (Thor‘s Darcy Lewis), Randall Park (Ant-Man and the Wasp‘s FBI Agent Jimmy Woo), and introduces Teyonah Parris as the older version of Captain Marvel‘s Monica Rambeau.

“Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, “WandaVision” marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.”
