Two days ago, Rob Thomas, the creator of Veronica Mars posted a kickstaerter project to fund a new film for the cult favorite TV show, Veronica Mars. Since then, the film has surpassed their goal and raised over three million dollars.
Today, Warner Bros has come out and officially greenlit the film for production. It will be entirely filmed off the money made from the Kickstater project.
What could this mean for other shows? Well, Whedon has already said that it won’t work for Firefly. What shows would you like to see brought back through progames like this?
