Was The End Of ‘Inception’ Real Or A Dream? Michael Caine Answers!

If you’ve seen Christopher Nolan’s “Inception” this summer then you know that there’s been a lot of speculations and pointless nerdy Internet debates over its ending as to whether or not Leonardo DiCaprio’s character was in a dream state or not.

If you haven’t seen “Inception” this is a MAJOR SPOILER SO STOP READING, otherwise continue on…

In the end, the audience was left to wonder about the ending… But recently Michael Caine revealed in an interview with BBC that the ending to “Inception” wasn’t a dream. Here’s why:

It drops at the end, that’s when I come back on. If I’m there it’s real, because I’m never in the dream. I’m the guy who invented the dream.

There ya go, debate solved. It was a happy ending after all. The end. Discussion over.
