Between 2002 and 2009, Tony Shalhoub helped usher in the USA Network’s golden age of original programming with Monk, the show about a talented detective who also happened to be a horrible germaphobe. The recently announced Peacock stay at home variety show hosted by Seth MacFarlane just released its first segment online and it reunited the cast of the show to give us a taste of how Monk would be living his best life during a pandemic.
The appearance had special meaning for Shalhoub, as both he and his wife recently recovered from the COVID-19 virus. Along with Shalhoub, the sketch also features Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard), Randy Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford) and Capt. Leland Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine)
Tonight, Tony Shalhoub joins Seth MacFarlane in The At-Home Variety Show, proving Adrian Monk may have had it right all along. We’re supporting essential workers and communities most in need. Find out how you can help too at https://www.peacocktv.com/ForGood. #PeacockVarietyShow #StayHome
