Several outlets are reporting that Warner Bros is moving forward with a Plastic Man film as part of their evolving plan for the DC cinematic universe. If the news is true that means we’ll be getting another character with a decidedly light-hearted angle to it. Basically, it means they are moving as far from the Snyderverse as possible.
According to THR, Amanda Idoko is currently working on the script for what is slated to be a comedic action-adventure. There’s currently no other news on the project or who the studio is looking at as Plastic Man, a.k.a. Patrick “Eel” O’Brian.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
