WBTV Plotting ALF Reboot

If you grew up in the 80’s then, for better or worse, you remember ALF. Short for Alien Life Form, ALF was a sitcom about a cat-eating alien who crashes to earth and finds refuge with a typical suburban family. Over the years, ALF has seen life as a sitcom, a Saturday Morning Cartoon, a talk show, and more merch than you can shake a cat at. Now, TVline is reporting that the show is looking at a possible return to the airways.

There’s little chance that the original cast would be brought back for the show. The children haven’t done much acting since the early 90’s and the father has had a history of criminal and drug related issues since then. The big question is whether original show creator and ALF voice/ puppeteer, Paul Fusco will be brought back to bring new life to Gordon Shumway.
