Who needs new Movies When You Can Remake Old Ones

I started college as a film student. I took a lot of screen writing courses with a lot of great writers. I know that at least one or two of them had to have made it to Hollywood. That’s why I can’t freakin understand what the deal is with all the damn remakes lately. Is this just the ass end of what happened with the writer’s strike?

I’m sure we’ll have months of details coming on the various remakes that will pollute the screens in the next year. For now, just take a look at the list and enjoy the trailers from the original versions.

1. John Carpenter’s The Thing

2. John Carpenter’s They Live

3. Arthur

4. Romancing the Stone
