Spider-Man is scheduled to appear on set for Captain America: Civil War in just around a month, but now there’s word about conflict between Marvel and Sony on who should fill the role.
Until a couple of days ago, it was generally considered a lock for Ender’s Game star, Asa Butterfield. Now, according to The Wrap reporter Jeff Sneider, he’s off the list and it’s down to either Tom Holland, Charlie Plummer, or Matthew Lintz.
He also said that while Marvel wants Plummer, Sony wants Holland – Because Sony has made such great casting decisions so far.
