According to THR, “Arrested Development” star Will Arnett has been cast to join the Michael Bay-produced “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot.
It has not yet been revealed who Arnett will play, though THR reports that he is not playing Casey Jones, another character from the 1980s comics that will be cast later. If we had to guess, it makes the most sense to put him in a role like Baxter Stockman.
Arnett will joining Megan Fox who has been been unfortunately cast as April O’Neil, the Turtles’ human friend.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is set for a June 6, 2014 release date.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
