Who knew that we’d get our latest bit of Star Wars news via the end of the world? It turns out that a Rueters story about a Mayan temple and the end of the world this Friday.
In their report, they mentioned about how fans are now flocking to the temple because it was the location that Lucas had used as the rebel base on Yavin 4 in the original trilogy.
“Yavin 4 and the rebel base return to the Star Wars plot in the forthcoming Episode VII, announced in October by the Walt Disney Co, in which Skywalker comes back to the planet to build a Jedi knight academy.”
We are not sure where they pulled that news from and everyone from Disney and Lucas is refusing to comment, so I guess you should take it with a grain of salt.
