Last week James Mangold moved the production of the new Wolverine film over to Japan. A couple pics have popped up today, but now we have the first one of Rila Fukushima as Yukio. It isn’t a face shot, but it is enough to give you a good idea of character design. We’ve also got some fun shots of Jackman in and around Japan with his full Logan sideburns on.
We are expecting some great images in the next week or so as both Mangold and Jackman seem pretty twitter happy with the set photos.
The Character Yukio is an assassin who is hired to kill Wolverine in the film, but instead falls in love with him.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
