It’s another big Marvel Day. Earlier, we had the cool looking, but very villain heavy trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Now, we’ve got this announcement from Bryan Singer via Twitter. With marketing just really starting to ramp up for X-Men: Days of Future Past, Singer set the net on fire a couple hours ago with this announcement:
#Apocalypse 2016!
Shortly thereafter, it was followed by this tweet from @ercboxoffice:
No stopping the X-Men franchise. Fox’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will drop May 27, 2016.
With Hopes already riding high for Days of Future Past, the mind boggles at the possibilities involved in bringing Apocalypse to the big screen. Will they be going off the ancient Egyptian/ first mutant concept? Will there be the four horsemen? will we get to see Archangel!?!?
I’m guessing that our first clue will probably come in an after credits scene at the end of Days of Future Past.
