We got some new details on the plot for X-Men Apocalypse today, because of conflict over another Jennifer Lawrence movie, Joy. The problem is a combination contract dispute and timing. Personally, I’m not sure why they are even making a film about Joy Mangano, the QVC star with the world’s most annoying voice, but that isn’t really the point. The point is that we have this tidbit below on how integral she’ll be to the next film.
“Apocalypse is being crafted around Lawrence’s Mystique character and Michael Fassbender’s Magneto. A source who has seen the script says Fox will take full advantage of Lawrence and Fassbender’s star power, placing Mystique and Magneto’s romance front and center.”
