Although “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” isn’t expected to open till May 1st 2009, XMenFilms.net has learned from 20th Century Fox that the studio is targeting “The Day the Earth Stood Still” for its first official trailer debut.
Teased at San Diego Comic Con in August, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, is expected to be one of the most anticipated films to jump start the 2009 Summer blockbuster rush, similar to this year’s Iron Man. Directed by Gavin Hood, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Dominic Monaghan, and Lynn Collins.
Keanu Reeves’ sci-fi remake “The Day the Earth Stood Still” is slated to open in theaters and IMAX on December 12th, 2008.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
