It’s not really a surprising announcement, but WB confirmed last night that Zack Snyder would in fact be directing The Justice League movie. It is now also being confirmed that the film will shoot back to back with Batman vs Superman as many had already suspected.
Currently, the only confirmed members of the Justice League are: Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. You can probably also guess that Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor will also be involved on some level. Dwayne Johnson has been rumored as a potential replacement for Green Lantern via the John Stewart version of the character.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
