4). Death of the Endless (Death the High Cost of Living – DC/Vertigo Comics)
Death is always a bad ass, there’s no two ways around it. But not all deaths have what it takes to make it into our list. While some reapers over compensate with black robes and a scythe, this Death sports a look that has teenage boys around the world praying for the end of days. The more than slightly emo hottie is the big sis to Neil Gaiman’s Sandman, and much like her little bro, she’s got her own way of doing things. While she’s technically the anthropomorphic personification of death itself, she keeps herself grounded by taking human form once a year to mingle amongst the mortals. You don’t have to worry about her hopping up on a steed with the other horsemen of the apocalypse; she’s the kind you can really bring home to mom.
3). Cassandra “Cassie” Hack (Hack/Slash – Devil’s Due Publishing)
There’s no babe more deserving of a top spot than Cassie Hack. Not only was she once teased for being unattractive and poor, her mother was also the “Lunch Lady Killer” who disemboweled every child that was ever mean to her at school. To say she had a crummy childhood would be an understatement. Since then however, Cassie has developed in more ways than one, beginning with a new tougher exterior and an acquired taste for fishnet stockings and improvised weaponry. This leaves very little doubt that the once shy and awkward little girl has fully blossomed into a full-fledged slasher ass kicking machine. For that she deserves our number three spot with top honors!
2). Vampirella (Vampirella – Harris Comics)
Before the definition of cougar became synonymous with lonely horny middle aged women and the partial name to Courtney Cox’s new show, there was Vampirella. There was always Vampirella, the OG of cougars who, for anyone’s guess is millions of years old. Despite her age and vampire immortality, she’s not afraid to flaunt her signature scantily clad red thong white collar costume and thigh-high hooker boots that make even mortal street walkers blush. But what really elevates her from the rest is the fact that while she has all your typical vampiric powers, she has none of the traditional weaknesses. That means she can eat pizza without spontaneously combusting, and you can faithfully trust that she’d love you for you and not your sweet and savory type AB blood.
