UK Trends Doctor Who Cyberman Cybernetics Kit
Any good Whovian knows that the Cybermen are not to be trifled with, but you also probably have a healthy curiosity about how they tick. This is a great kit for kids over 14 through adults. It gives you a chance to actually built your own Cyberman head with some real functionality to them. What makes this a great kit is that its more than just a model, you can upgrade it with different abilities including infrared, object awareness, and light sensitivity. You can swap out the circuit boards to change the upgrade without too much hassle. Basically, it was a pretty unique Doctor Who collectible and is perfect for people who already have their Tardis and sonic screwdriver at the ready.

The Wand Company Doctor Who Universal Remote Sonic Screwdriver
Last year, one of the hottest gifts out there was the Harry Potter Wand Universal Remote Control. This year, Whovians can rejoice because we now have our own Sonic Screwdriver version of the gadget. For starters, it is a stunning replica of a sonic screwdriver. It talks and has great sonic screwdriver sound effects. We were able to program it to handle three devices fairly easily. It seems to have more motion control to it than the average Wii controller and it will make you look like a hero at your next Doctor Who viewing party. Remember, the Christmas Special is coming up very soon. The only downside of buying this as a gift for someone is that you’ll want to keep it for yourself.

Underground Toys Doctor Who Action Figures
Underground Toys has created some really great action figures for Doctor Who fans. They’ve been around for a few years now and they seem to be getting better and better. I got a chance to check out a few of them and the detail is quite impressive. They manage to nail the likenesses on the human characters and they do an even better job on the monsters. I thought that I looked at the figure for The Silence, but it was so accurate that when I looked away, I completely forgot. While these figures are for ages 5+, they are definitely not just for kids.

Underground Toys Talking Plush Keychains
There are more and more Whovians out there every single day, but we don’t all have fancy dresses shaped like TARDISes that make us stand out from the crowd. If you’ve got someone who wants a fun way to show off their love of the Doctor when they are out and about, these clip ons/ keychains are a great way to do it. I got a chance to play with the plush Dalek, Cyberman and TARDIS. They are all very cute and have great sound effects. The bad guys both have multiple phrases that they will yell at you and the TARDIS lights up and makes that classic TARDIS noise. These are a great stocking stuffer.

Underground Toys Talking Plush Tardis and Daleks
If you can’t be satisfied by a key chain sized plush TARDIS or Dalek, then you should check out the 10” plush that Underground Toys has put out. These plush dolls are beyond adorable. I would have never thought that I’d see a Dalek that I’d want to hug while it yells “EXTERMINATE!”at me. As for the TARDIS, I’d probably hug one of those even if it was made out of barbed wire and broken glass.

Underground Toys Time Lords Spinning Tardis
This is a great gift for the Whovian in your life who is stuck in a dead end desk job… sort of like Donna Noble. This Spinning TARDIS sits quietly at your desk and spins in mid air through the power of electro magnetism. This desk toy can be a bit of a battery suck, taking 6 AA batteries, but it comes with a port for an AC adapter. It also has a very good power saving mode. It senses light, so when the lights go out, so does the power on the magnet.

Underground Toys Stress Adipose
What can you say about the Adipose? They are the cutest little critters made entirely out of fat that you’ve ever seen. This stress adipose is a great gift for people who work in offices or just people how love Doctor who and have a harried life.

Underground Toys Talking Cookie Jar
There’s not much to say about this. It is just about the most awesome thing you could have in your kitchen and keep cookies in. The highly detailed Tardis cookie jar not only looks great, but also lights up and makes the Tardis sound. If I had any complaint, as a lover of cookies, it would be that this Tardis is not bigger on the inside.

Underground Toys Character Building Tardis Console Room Mega Set
If you love LEGOS and you love Doctor Who, you used to be out of luck, but now Underground Toys has these great construction sets that will more than satisfy your craving. The TARDIS control room mega set is the big daddy of all the construction sets and it is just as fun to put together as some of the larger LEGO sets. There are tons of toys that show the outside of the TARDIS, but this is one of the very few that take you inside. Finally, the set also comes with four little LEGO style figures of The Doctor, Amy, Rory, and River.

Underground Toys Character Builder Tardis Mini Sets
If you can’t swing for the big Mega Set or you are just looking for a good stocking stuffer, then the TARDIS Mini Set is for you. While you don’t get the whole control room like the big sets, you get to build your own little TARDIS and it comes with both The Doctor and Amy.

Underground Toys Character Builder Blind Figures
Here’s another great little stocking stuffer for Doctor Who fans. These little mini figures are like a tiny little timey wimey surprise. There are something like 15-20 different figures and they are all great looking and super cute. So far, my favorite is the Cyberman, but they have everyone from the Doctor to the Daleks. You just don’t know who you are getting until you’ve got it.

Underground Toys The Masters Fob Watch
If you have Whovian in your life, but you want to get them something a little more classy, then you might want to consider either the Doctor’s or the Master’s Fob watch. If you don’t remember them from the show, The watch is what a time lord uses to sort of store their essence when they have to go into hiding and become human. The watches have a lot of great detail and look just like the ones from the show. It also comes with a chain to hang it from your waist. Even on the off chance that the person in your life isn’t big into Doctor Who, this is also a great present for all the Steampunk people in your life.

Underground Toys The Journal of Impossible Things
Don’t buy this journal for someone thinking that they can use it as a journal. The Journal of impossible things is a great prop replica for fans of Doctor Who. While it does have around twenty pages that are blank, the cool part is that it has 78 pages of extremely detailed notes and drawing from the time that the doctor was John Smith. It was one of the best episodes of the modern revival of the show and any fan would be happy to have it.
*note – there are two versions of this product, one comes with a min sonic screw driver and one comes with a plastic replica of the Master’s Ring. They are both neat, but I lean a bit more towards the one with the screwdriver.

Underground Toys Flight Control Tardis
Now that you’ve got the action figures, you need a good TARDIS and the new Flight Control TARDIS is the one to go with. If you have the last one that came out, it is similar, but without some of the light effects. The top still lights up, the door opens and you can even open the compartment with the phone. When you lift it up and put it down, it automatically makes the appropriate noises. It even has noises for when you are flying it through the air.

Underground Toys Sonic Screwdriver Pen
Here’s another great stocking stuffer/ and gift for a Whovian who works in an office. This metal bodied pen is shaped just like the Sonic Screwdriver and writers in two inks, Black and Green. I’m not sure if it is the kind of pen that you’ll do all your writing with, but it is it is a great conversation piece for your desk at work or at home.

Underground Toys Tardis Teapot
Doctor Who is just about the most British thing in the world next to a hot cup of tea. So, why not combine them and give the gift of a very cute little Porcelain TARDIS Tea Pot. It isn’t a Tea Kettle, it is the thing you pour hot tea in and have it look spiffy on the table. It holds 750 ml of tea, which is around the same as a fifth of whiskey if you need a comparison. While that is more than the amount of whiskey you should drink, it is just the right amount of tea. This gift is good for anyone who loves Doctor Who, but will be especially appreciated by women who like to show off their geekiness, but don’t go in for things like action figures and that kind of thing.

Underground Toys Desktop Patrol Dalek
If you are looking for something a little more interactive than a Dalek action figure as a gift this holiday season, you might want to consider the desktop patrol Dalek. It doesn’t say as many things as the action figure, it only says EXTERMINATE! (but isn’t that really enough?). However, this one actually will roam around on your desk. It never falls off the sides and it has a sensor that even stops it from bumping into things. In a lot of ways, it is actually a lot more action packed than any action figure you can buy as a gift.

Underground Toys Talking Dalek Figure
Most of the Doctor Who stuff that we have in the guide is based off the new series, but Underground Toys still has some great classic toys out there too for people who like the old episodes of Doctor Who from the 60’s. They offer classic Dalek figures that feature the sounds from the old episodes. This is a great gift for dad’s who grew up with Doctor Who from the sons that they’ve introduced to the show… That’s right, it isn’t just a toy. It is a gift that can bring the generations together.

Underground Toys Deluxe Sonic Screwdriver
This is an awesome stocking stuffer for the Doctor Who fan who fancies himself to be a little bit handy. It is a very nicely detailed metal and plastic Sonic Screwdriver. Not only does it light up and play the Sonic Screwdriver noise, but it also works as a real screwdriver! Hidden inside of the shaft are a couple of screw driver heads. You just pop it in half, take out the bit that you need and then it connects to the end magnetically. You aren’t going to be doing heavy construction with this tool, but it sure will make you feel awesome when you are fixing your glasses or changing the batteries on your other toys.
