Well that is just about the cutest little android figure that I’ve seen in as long as I can remember. It is definitely on par or possibly even better than the one that Hot Toys put out around a year ago.
This figure, created by 2CWO is being released to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Astro Boy. The sculpt actually kind of reminds me of Pinocchio. It just came up for pre-order from Ami Ami for 10,680 Yen… or around $135 USD.
Yes, this is a bit steep for a PVC, but it is very slick looking. And, the fact that it comes in a nice wooden box is a great touch.
