Lego has already brought The Simpsons and Doctor Who into their universe through their LEGO idea program. Now it looks like The Golden Girls are on their way to a lifetime of cube shaped cheesecakes around the kitchen table.
The Golden Girls starred Betty White, Rue McClanahan, Bea Arthur, and Estelle Getty, as a clutch of retired women sharing a home in Miami. It was one of the most popular sitcoms of the late 80’s and early 90’s and is pretty much on somewhere on cable at any given time of the day in reruns.
The set, which recreates the famous kitchen scene from the show currently has 1701 supporters, but it needs 10k to make the leap from idea to reality.
